The Travel Foundation

The Travel Foundation is an independent charity that works with tourism companies and destination authorities to unlock the positive potential of tourism in destinations, creating better places to live, work and visit. We seek partners who share our vision and actively want to make a contribution towards changing tourism. Our partners include: • Destination governments • Tourism businesses in destinations and from source markets • Tourism organisations, both national and international • Academic institutions and non-government organisations We make a commitment to a small number of key destinations and work with stakeholders to understand the impacts of tourism. Our groundbreaking research report into the impacts of tourism in Cyprus can be downloaded at www.thetravelfoundation.org.uk/impact This tailored approach involves bringing key stakeholders together using our excellent industry links. We develop sustainable tourism projects that show proven results and can be scaled up to be 'business as usual'​ for a destination or a tour operator.
