As ​TripActions​ (backed by Andreessen Horowitz, valued at $7B+) is doing for the front end of business travel, we are doing for the equally critical back end. Business travel procurement is deeply broken. As one example, large corporations all spend 3-6 months each year conducting RFPs with hotels for negotiated discounts, but because of ​various tech issues and conflicts of interest​, ~25% of their bookings fail to get those prices - errors that cost companies at least $14 billion in overpayment annually and are also problematic for hotels. The traditional approach to perennial issues in business travel has been to throw more people at the problems. But this is changing, as forward-thinking corporations are selecting travel partners based on their proven tech roadmap. In addition to major partnerships with leading next-gen travel companies, our blockchain-based solution will go live in the next few months - where the price the corporation pays for hotels is determined in real time based on realized volume and other business logic.
